Intercos, world leader in the cosmetics industry, needed a high-performance labelling system customised to their space optimisation needs, to complement their trousse labelling line.
Labelpack developed a two-head system that allowed to implement “C” labelling on three sides of the packs, applying a label-seal that guarantees the integrity of the pack while maintaining its aesthetic component.

Intercos, a leading Italian cosmetics company with over fifty years of experience working with major global brands, needed to modify its line to increase productivity.
Previously, Intercos used an “L” labelling system, applied on two sides of cosmetic trousses containing powder products.
However, in order to respond to market needs and ensure greater functionality and safety, Intercos decided to upgrade an existing line with a high-performance labelling system capable of applying a “C” label. This solution, which wraps three sides of the package, also acts as a guarantee seal, ensuring the integrity of the package.
In the cosmetics sector, where precision and aesthetics are key, the new system combines operational efficiency with maintaining the visual elegance of the packaging, helping to reinforce Intercos’ reputation as a partner of excellence for beauty brands.
At the beginning of our collaboration, Intercos shared specific requirements with us:
- increase line productivity;
- optimise the limited space available with a compact and functional customised solution;
- achieve precision and efficiency in label-seal application.
The multinational company Intercos approached us after the success of a previous collaboration, in which we supplied machines for labelling lipsticks, eye pencils and cases.
Thanks to the excellent relationship we had established, the company placed its trust in us once again, asking us to realise a customised project that would meet its needs for application flexibility and compactness.
Thanks to the skills of our design team, we were able to create a flexible system capable of applying one or two labels on different sides of the same product.
This way, it is also possible to apply the label-seal to the bottom of the pack, while retaining the ability to label as it had been done until then: the result has been an increase in productivity.
Collaboration was a key element in the success of the project. During the design phase, our team worked in close synergy with the Intercos team, updating the project continuously and proactively.
We responded promptly to all requests that arose during development, adopting a flexible and solution-oriented approach. This allowed us to fully meet Intercos’ requirements, producing an optimal system that was perfectly in line with their expectations.
The line to be modified did not have much space available. Therefore, a section of conveyor belt had to be removed to allow the labeller to be included.
We supplied Intercos with a two-head labelling system, one for top face application and one for “C” application. This flexible solution allows one or two labels to be applied to the same product. COMPACT TE-TS is equipped with a security casing and touchscreen for the management of all devices.
One of the main challenges was to ensure that the products remained straight during installation, a prerequisite for correct and accurate label application. To address this, we implemented a plastic modular mesh side conveyor system. A solution that proved highly effective in maintaining stability and alignment of the products.
The solution was installed successfully and on schedule.
The introduction of the labeller into the line also brought unexpected benefits, allowing the company to label a format that had not been foreseen in the initial design.
Thanks to our close collaboration and design expertise, we developed an innovative “C” labelling system for Intercos, custom-designed to meet the company’s specific needs. The result is a compact, precise and efficient solution, perfectly aligned to the high standards required by the cosmetics industry.
