- Ancillary activities related to managing user/customer requests and responding to inquiries, which may include sending promotional materials, processing product or service purchase orders (including payment processing via credit card), handling shipments, exercising the right to withdraw in distance sales, and providing updates on product availability.
- Compliance with obligations required by EU and national laws, ensuring public order, and detecting and preventing crimes.
- Direct marketing, meaning sending advertising materials, direct sales, conducting market research, or commercial communication of products/services offered by the Company. This may include products and services from Company Group affiliates and be conducted through traditional methods (e.g., postal mail, phone calls) or automated systems (e.g., SMS, MMS, calls without operator intervention, email, fax, interactive applications).
Providing data for the purposes of points 1), 2), and 3), related to a pre-contractual and/or contractual phase or in response to a specific regulatory requirement, is mandatory and, if not provided, it will not be possible to receive the requested information and access the requested services. Processing Methods, Retention Period, and Security Measures
Data processing is carried out using electronic or automated means by the Company and/or third parties authorized to store, manage, and transmit data.
Data will be processed in a manner that ensures security and confidentiality, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for certain services, and transactions will be conducted through third-party payment platforms. Users are encouraged to take precautions, such as using strong passwords and updating them regularly.
Regarding data security, in sections of the website where personal data is requested, the data is encrypted using a security technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). SSL technology encrypts information before it is exchanged over the Internet between the user’s processor and the Company’s central systems, making it unintelligible to unauthorized individuals and ensuring the confidentiality of the transmitted information. Additionally, transactions involving electronic payment tools are processed directly by the payment service provider’s platform, and the Company only retains the minimum set of information needed to handle potential disputes. Regarding data protection, users/customers are invited, under Article 33 of the GDPR, to report any circumstances or events that might lead to a potential “data breach” to allow immediate evaluation and adoption of actions to counteract the event by sending communication to privacy@Company.it or contacting Customer Service. The measures adopted by the Company do not exempt the Customer from paying attention to using, where required, sufficiently complex passwords/PINs, which should be updated periodically, especially if the Customer suspects that they have been compromised by third parties, and must be carefully stored and kept inaccessible to others to prevent improper and unauthorized use.

In any case, only the data necessary for achieving the purposes will be communicated, and, where required, safeguards for transfers of data to third countries will be applied. We may also disclose personal data to our commercial service providers, for marketing purposes, who will be appointed external data processors. Furthermore, personal data may be communicated to the relevant public authorities and agencies for compliance with legal obligations or for the investigation of liability in case of cybercrimes affecting the site, as well as communicated to or stored with third parties (as data controllers or, in the case of electronic communication service providers, as autonomous data controllers) that provide IT and telecommunication services (e.g., hosting services, web site management and development), and which the Company uses for carrying out technical and organizational activities instrumental to the functioning of the website. The subjects belonging to the above categories operate as distinct data controllers or as data processors appointed by the Company.
